  1. Ireland's schools abuse commission invites survivors to share experiences in national survey

The state Commission of Investigation into historical sexual abuse in Irish schools is launching a survey of people abused in schools between 1927 and 2013 to identify patterns and guide its inquiry. A 2024 scoping inquiry had identified more than 2,300 allegations at 308 religious-run schools, and a redress scheme is expected to follow.
